It was time to start over. Tajpa- I mean Tajmahal's roleplayer had been inactive due to vacation, and her recent demotion had been a bit of a bummer. Hopefully everything would work out right this time, and she would make sure to be active.
"Umm... hi," The shy warrior leaped onto the nose of the plane, "It's Tajmahal. Y'know, I used to be the medicine cat apprentice, but my roleplayer went to this place called Missouri and did this big dance thingy. Anyways, I'm going to split my speech into two parts. One part is my speech for Medicine cat, and the other is my speech for Deputy."
Hal took a deep breath, relaxing her wings as she did so. Alright, you've got this. "As you know, I have a strong passion for herbs, and I also got some training from Julyfireworks. I have experience with healing others as well. I will do whatever it takes to keep my clan strong, healthy, and of course happy. A happy clan makes strong and loyal warriors, while a not-so-happy clan might make lazy and uncommitted warriors," The tortie took another deep breath before continuing, "So.. uhhh.. yeah. I guess that's my speech for Medicine cat."
Now, this is the hard part. Tajmahal forced an almost genuine smile, acting like she was not nervous. This had to be perfect. "Well, I have very little experience with fighting. Even though I don't like fighting too well and i'm as clumsy as a kitten just learning to walk, I think I could be a great deputy. Is it the strength and stealthiness that makes a respected warrior, or is it the bravery, loyalty, and intelligence that makes a respected warrior? I think you would say the second thing. Just because someone is strong doesn't mean he or she immediately becomes deputy. What if that clan member is disloyal and dumb as a doornail? To be a deputy, you need to be strategic and willing to die for your clan. I might not be a great hunter or fighter, but I can have a battle strategy pop right into my mind at a moment's notice and I would do anything for my clan. Thank you," As soon as she finished, Taj dismounted the plane and headed back to camp.
