A small kit that had a pelt that was light brown with a single black paw padded through the prairie. She had amber eyes like her sister Brown,whom she had gotten separated from three days ago. The kit's name is Leaf. She was a few minutes older then her sister Brown. Though for her age Leaf was worried about Brown but when she couldn't find her she sadly assumed she didn't make it and padded on. Where she had found her way to a praire. She was stronger then her sister so she wasn't as hungry. She padded through the prair and stopped outside Swiftclan camp. She blinked looking around.

"name and business, kid," came the voice of vinepaw as he padded over with narrowed eyes. as you see, it wasn't in his nature to be hospitable and nice, most of the time -- if you're looking for that sort of cat, i suggest going to highnote or stagefright.

Leaf blinked her amber eyes looking at him"I..im Leaf....I..I need somewhere to stay"She mewed her light brown tail flicked back and forth slightly.

"well, you're in luck, kid. there's plenty of space here in swiftclan." he gestured to the barn that stood not too far from the two, two meaning vinepaw and leaf's, and passed a mouse to her while looking away. he didn't want to see those cute faces with a thank you or a plead, he just couldn't take it and he did not want to be known as the kind deputy. he would rather stay as vinepaw, the loyal swiftclan hero and all. "you can stay here. and eat this mouse -- you'll need it."

"Thank you"Leaf mewed quietly before she quietly bend down and ate the mouse finishing it. She brought her black paw to her maw and wiped it quietly before looking at him.

"i'm actually pretty new to this place, so, um, of you want, you can stay with me." it would be nice if he adopted her, at least he had something to do, other than looking around and going hunting, right?

Leaf smiled and purred when Vinepaw pat her on the head. She looked at him with amber eyes "so..can I see where im staying?"She mewed"please"she mewed politly.

"alright, then," vinepaw nodded, hoping nobody saw him. his gaze surveyed the area before he started moving his way into the barn. inside there was his large bed of moss that could fit at least him and two other kits, one the average size and one tiny. "over here." he showed leaf his bed, which was very near to the fresh-kill pile as well.

Leaf followed Vinepaw. She blinked her small amber eyes when he saw his nest. She glanced around before looking at Vinepaw"wow thats a big nest"She mewed.

"in my free time, i collect a lot of moss," the deputy shrugged. just a habit he had done in his old clan, and he had passed it onto here.
