He smiled, "That was mighty kind of you! Why dont you lead the way?" Harris suddenly became overwhelmed with excitement and couldnt keep still in his seat. Adventures were the things he would read about, not what he would do. It was rare for him to explore something of any possible danger without his brother or parents stopping him.

Teresa grinned and "led the way" as he had put it. It took near an hour to get there, and you wouldn't have been able to tell that people would meet there often. The fixing job was well hidden. "Here we are." She said, "Adventure awaits."

"Wow I forgot how far it was from my house!" Harris looked around for a place to prop his bike up neatly. He had decided that against a tree was the best place and he sat in the shade. He patted the ground next to him to invite Teresa to sit there. He pulled his bookbag in front of him and unzipped it. Inside were his books and school things, but beneath all of that was his snack he had almost forgotten about. The tree provided just enough shade for them to cool off and rest, "Want some?" he offered her some of his apple slices as he proceeded to open the plastic baggy.

Teresa purposely dropped her bike on the ground next to his, hoping to bug him. She plopped down, "I'd love some. But don't you ever have junk food? Or leave a mess? Or anything?" She was just joking, she didn't mind his neat freak habits.

He smiled at her ignoring the bike, "Well junk food isnt healthy for you," he said imitating an adult giving a lecture to a child. Harris laughed to himself softly before proceeding to place a few slices in her hand. He had managed to eat a few himself before speaking again, "So where do we start? The exploration has to have some sort of organization, so that we can see everything that h=there is to see."

She rolled her eyes, "There's nothing wrong with running wild for once in your life. But even so, we could start on this close end and work our way down." She ate the apple slices in whole pieces, chewing as loudly as she could.

"Since you obviously have more experience with exploration, i'll let you lead. " He stepped aside to allow her to walk ahead of him. He was a little nervous because he had never done anything of the sort. It was better she lead anyhow since he didnt really know what to do or where to go.

Teresa got up and started walking down the slope. The place would make a good haunted movie location. She grinned and started to jog faster.
